• Hi, will there be any investigation into this? I have counted this happening to at least 4 users so it’s not an isolated issue.

What I think I have found is that when I add a product to a collection via the Product page, standard bulk-edit feature, it assigns products to Collections but this reverts after a few minutes.

If you go to the Collection page, Edit collection and add products from there one by one using search, the products DO stay in the collection! What’s the difference between these two methods if one works another doesn’t?

Although this method works, it’s not very user-friendly and it would be much quicker and more convenient to assign Collections to Products on the general Product page.

It would also be awesome to have the Collection available on the single product page too (this is a tickbox in Screen Options but it doesn’t show the field).

I’m happy to share logins etc to my test site if it helps demonstrate this if you can’t recreate the bug.

    Hi @waldopepper ,

Can you kindly make a screen recording video of how you create the collection using the Bulk Edit feature so that we can reproduce this issue on our dev site?

You can kindly observe the caches saving on your site as well. If the collections work properly after clearing caches or exempting caches for our plugin, it might be a caching issue.

I have checked the procedure of creating smart product collections on our dev site but couldn’t reproduce this. We only keep a pure installation of WooCommerce and our WPC plugins with WPCstore theme only.

    Best regards.

Hi @janilyn409 sure here’s a screen recording. I am assigning the Collection via bulk-edit, it assigns it to the collection but if you skip to just after 2minutes it disappears from it.

This is after deleting the site cache.

I also included footage the single product page at the end to show that ticking the Collections option in Screen Options doesn’t make this field visible. Perhaps if this worked and users could assign the Collection on each individual product page, it would be another method of assigning Collections that doesn’t encounter this bug?

    Hi @waldopepper ,

Thanks for the information. I wil try to reproduce this on our dev site and write a report to our developers so that they can investigate this. I will reach back to you when receiving any response from our developers about this.

This might take up some time, kindly spare us some days.

    Best regards.
