    Hi there,

We have a store setup with prices set as :-

    – No, I will enter prices exclusive of tax

    We also have set :-

    – Display prices in the shop – Including

Most products showed with tax but some showed without. Facebook said it was nothing they were doing it is the price they receive. Can we look into why this might be please?

    Man Thanks
    Jamie

    Hi @patchgill

Thanks for your patience. Our notification system failed us on newly created threads, sorry about that.

We have a section in our support documentation that provides a bit of insight that may be the solution to your problem. If prices are inclusive of tax on the shop page it’s likely a result of there being customer data ( like their shipping address ) that adds the tax on the website that is not being added to Facebook. This is expected.

    https://woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/#how-can-i-get-facebook-to-display-prices-including-tax

You could set the taxes to be set based on the shop’s address and then make prices inclusive of tax. This will update the price to be inclusive of tax on Facebook.

    Hi @patchgill

We’ll mark this thread as close, but feel free to open a new support thread, with the steps you’ve taken, should you still have issues after using the most recent version of Facebook for WooCommerce.

    Hi John,

    I hope you are well.

Yes what you say and the documentation makes sense. As mentioned most my products do react and work correctly. It only seems to be around 20 products out of 700 that pull through with out tax. However all the global settings are to show including tax.

So I am unsure why just these select few would pull through minus tax and how we resolve this?

    Thanks
    Jamie

    Hi @patchgill,

Have you tried duplicating one of these 20 affected products and see if the behavior is the same? If not yet done, I encourage you to give that a try and keep us posted on your findings.

Looking forward to reading from you!
