    Hi

I am having issues syncing products from WooCommerce to Zettle. The accounts are linked up, it shows as if the products are syncing, but they dont.

I have read a couple of users with the same issue so I have tried:
changing the tax to Zero on both Woo Commerce and zettle
Deactivated, and reactivated the plug in
Logged and logged out in numerous times to sync

Any ideas how we can resolve this issue?

    Thanks

    Hello @thegreencorner

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are happy to help.

a common issue (that is being fixed for the next release) is that products are assigned a tax class, but under the Tax Settings this tax class does not contain any configuration. This causes the product not to sync to Zettle and an error should show up in the logs telling that the tax class is pointing to an empty (“”) field.

This is an option that you might encounter, but without seeing your Zettle logs and the System report I am purely guessing. If this option is not your solution and you rather not share these details on a public forum, you can always open a ticket with us. The instructions to do so you can find here: https://zettle.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/

Let me know how you want to proceed.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hi Joost

Many thanks for the reply, that seems to have worked.

The issue I am having now is the prices haven’t synced. The option for price sync turned off. I have turned that option on but when I go off the page and go back onto the Zettle POS page the option has turned back off.

Is there a fix for this ?

    Many thanks

    Hello @thegreencorner

in order for the prices to sync you need to have the taxes set up in the same way you have them set up in Zettle. If you don’t do that, the prices won’t be able to sync.

However, when you have the taxes activated, you will need to make sure your tax classes have been correctly configured. You might break the current sync if you only activate the tax on your system. Be sure to check that the products have the correct tax class assigned and that this tax class hat got a configuration entry added to it (there has to be a row inserted in the tax class config page: WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > <tax class>).

I hope this will help you get this issue resolved.
Let me know if you need more assistance.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hi Joost

Many thanks for reply. I am still struggling to find the setting which is not allowing the prices to sync. The tax class is set to Zero on my tax settings. My VAT amount on Zettle is set to 0%, as thats the only tax setting I can see.

Is there any other settings that could be blocking the prices to sync?

    Many thanks
    Adam

    Hello @thegreencorner

The only other item that effect the price sync is the currency, but I think you already have those set to the same, correct?

I think it would be better to take a look at your Zettle Logs and possibly your System Report. For that, it would probably be best to open a ticket as described before.

    Let me know.
    Kind regards,
    Joost
