    Hello,

after installing WMPL and adding several languages, I had a huge mess in my facebook catalogue.

therefore I tried to clean up in facebook manager, but that was too complicated (and also not working) so I deleted the whole catalogue and created a new one.

I an able to reconnect according to your howto successfully, but when I do a fresh manual product sync, no items appear in my catalogue.

In my debug log I can see POST with a 200, so it looks promising, but as stated before, no items are shown in the catalogue.

the catalogue ID is correct and setup seems to be ok.

In the business manager, under Catalogue -> Data sources -> when I hit “Add items with pixel” I see my pixel with an “Not ready” state and the message “This pixel’s microdata is incomplete or incorrectly formatted”.

But in Catalogue -> Events there are shown at “Pixel ID” and the “SDK ID” in the Diagnotics column “All good”.

As I said, I am able to connnect with the plugin successfully and I can use the pixel.

    Any advice highly appreciated.

    Hi there @dgttm

    Thanks for your question!

We have some product synchronization issues reported when Facebook for WooCommerce and WMPL are installed. This is likely due to a multi language plugin will duplicate product pages, thus it messes up the synced products to Facebook catalog.

I am able to reconnect according to your howto successfully, but when I do a fresh manual product sync, no items appear in my catalogue.

Could you please try to temporarily deactivate WPML and then try to create a simple WooCommerce product and see it that’s synced to your Facebook catalog?

    I hope that helps!

Let me know how it goes!

deactivating WMPL is not an option right now, but thanks for the reply. Also, I only have variable products, which also seem to create issues with FB sync.

so does that mean I cannot use the plugin with WMPL and variable products?

maybe I should mention, that I had before I activated WMPL a working connection. After that created kind of a mess, I deleted the catalogue, but now NOT a single item is syncing.

In the debug log, I see responsoe codes 200 OK – so I dont understand, why the items do not show up.

here is an example (catalogue and other ids changed)

    Hello @dgttm

Thanks for your reply and details included!

I have been researching the issue and this is a known problem on WPML, check below for some references:

    * Facebook to Woocommerce plugin not able to publish products in other languages
    * woocommerce for facebook integration
    * Facebook for Woocommerce WPML compatibility issues

These above also include some useful recommendations to take on the WPML settings.

Disabling the plugin temporarily will be the first step to confirm WPML is causing the problem. As you mentioned originally, the problem started happening after the plugin installation.
