    Hello,

My products are not syncing any more. Every time I update or make changes to a product, I get the same error message. It also happens when trying to exclude products from sync:

I get no further information, and there are no fatal errors in the Woocommerce log.

When clicking “Manage connection” in the Facebook for Woocommerce plugin, I get to the “Connected Apps” page in Meta Business Suite. It shows that the Woocommerce integration is connected, but is also shows my catalog 3 times:

    And my pixel twice:

I have no idea if this is related, but it seems wrong. I do only have one catalog and one pixel.

I also found this on Meta:

“Ukendt fejl” translates to “Unknown error”. 89 products affected is my entire catalog.

I attached the Woocommerce status report here:

    https://pastebin.com/bPbixnty

I hope You can help me solve this.

    Thank You

    Hi there @kejserjorn

Thank you for reaching out about this. From what I gather, your WooCommerce products are not syncing to your Facebook page due to multiple instances in the “Connected Apps” page in Meta Business Suite.

As a first step, kindly go ahead with enabling the Debug Tools that come with the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin, and:

    • Delete all products from your Facebook Catalog
    • Reset connection settings

Using the available tools. Feel free to check out the related documentation, linked here, explaining this further.

Then, kindly go ahead with deleting all the “Connected Apps” instances, through their screen in Meta Business Suite.

Subsequently, feel free to remove the Pixel instances also.

For the related documentation, feel free to follow this link.

Upon reconnecting the plugin, there should be one connected app and one Pixel instance, in the “Connected Apps” page in Meta Business Suite, while product syncing should function as expected.

Let us know how that goes!

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know. We’re happy to help.

It seems that my products are synced now, after following the steps you provided and performing a full sync. Thank you.

One strange thing though – All my products in Woocommerce are shown as “not yet synced to Facebook” now. And that doesn’t chance even if i edit and update a product. But they seem to be correctly synced

    Hi,

This is odd. I’d suggest updating your Facebook for WooCommerce extension (A new version of it is rolled out, which is the 3.0.11).

Let us know whether the issue persists.

    Thread Starter kejserjorn

    (@kejserjorn)

The issue persists. I also don’t get a notice that the product has been updated on Facebook when updating it in Woocommerce. I always got this message before

    Hi @kejserjorn

I understand that after updating the plugin, the issue still persists that the products are not syncing to your Facebook Shop, is that correct?

Occasionally, deleting or resetting all products from the Facebook catalog and then letting things sync again is the only way to fix strange issues. This requires a code snippet, which you can read more about here.

Let us know if this resolves the issue!

I don’t get an error message about update on Facebook failed any more when updating a product in Woocommerce. I don’t get a success message either. The products are all shown as not yet synced. On Facebook the products does not seem to update.

I tried deleting all products again and resetting the connection as per the instructions Pepe provided earlier, and in the log I get a lot of bad requests about missing permissions. This is one out of many:

    02-15-2023 @ 10:01:35 - Deleted FB Metadata for product 4845
    02-15-2023 @ 10:01:35 - Request
    method: GET
    uri: https://graph.facebook.com/v14.0/catalog:4800265766678053:MjAwN180ODQw/?fields=id,product_group{id}
    user-agent: Facebook-til-WooCommerce/3.0.11 (WooCommerce/7.4.0; WordPress/6.1.1)
    body:
    duration: 0.12506s

    02-15-2023 @ 10:01:35 - Response
    code: 400
    message: Bad Request
body: {"error":{"message":"Unsupported get request. Object with ID 'catalog:4800265766678053:MjAwN180ODQw' does not exist, cannot be loaded due to missing permissions, or does not support this operation. Somehow it seems that the link in the feed between the actual product in Woocommerce and the product on Facebook is broken. If this is the case – will the provided snippet work?

If so – do You recommend deleting or resetting? And will deleting actually remove the products in my Facebook store? They are all there now. They are just not up to date. I am worried that it will not be possible for me to upload them again if they are deleted

Does the snippet do anything other that what debug mode and deleting in Woocommerce status tools does?

    Howdy @kejserjorn

Sine you have active the latest version of the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin at your store, feel free to use the available (and admittedly more user-friendly than code snippets) buttons in Debug Tools.

    • Clear Background Sync Jobs, then
    • Delete all products

Subsequently, kindly go ahead with syncing the products to your Facebook page anew, using the button available in the Marketing > Facebook > Product Sync screen.

Let us know how that goes, please.

Thank You. I have no problem using Code Snippets. I was just wondering if it did the same thing ??

I tried Deleting all products using Debug Tools again. Should this actually delete the products from My facebook store? They all seem to still be there

I just tried deleting and syncing again. I get the same bad request errors in the log and nothing seems to be synced

    Hi there @kejserjorn

Thank you for following-up, letting us know of the outcome.

Just to clarify, you were able to delete all products from your Facebook page, and verified that was the case, before opting to sync the WooCommerce products, or otherwise?

Furthermore, could you verify if the product with ID 4800265766678053:MjAwN180ODQw is not available at your WooCommerce store, or otherwise, please? Linked here is a screenshot about where the ID can be found.

We will be standing by for your response.

    Thread Starter kejserjorn

    (@kejserjorn)

I was not able to verify that my products were deleted on Facebook. It would be very helpful to know approximately how long to wait for this to happen. I waited about 10 minutes I think before resyncing, and the products were not actually deleted on Facebook at that time.

On ALL my products the field highlighted in your screenshot just says: “This product has not yet been synchronized with Facebook” (or something similar – translated from danish).

The product with the specific product ID is indeed available in my Woocommerce store. It is just one out of many similar entries in the log. There probably is one for every single product. The entire log is very long.

Thank you for clarifying further, @kejserjorn .

In that case, I suggest the following:

On ALL my products the field highlighted in your screenshot just says: “This product has not yet been synchronized with Facebook” (or something similar – translated from danish).

Could you verify is any of the tips on known sync issues (linked here) resolves this, please?

    (@kejserjorn)

I can’t do that. The delete button is grayed out as the products are added from Woocommerce…

    Thread Starter kejserjorn

    (@kejserjorn)

None of the tips seems to apply. It has been working before as all of my products are already on Facebook.

It has now been 25 minutes since the last time I tried deleting with the debug tools. All products are still listed on Facebook.

    Thread Starter kejserjorn

    (@kejserjorn)

I just get this. It translates to “This product has not yet been synchronized with Facebook”

When editing and updating a product in Woocommerce, I do not get a message about it also being updated on Facebook. I always got this before
