but why would it stop displaying on the woocommerce upgrade? Are there any pointers that you can give to solving this for the Rustik theme?

This is because your theme hasn’t been made compatible with WooCommerce 2.0 yet. Please contact your theme author to see if there is an update available and if not, ask them to make the theme compatible so it works with every version 2.0 and up.
