    Good Evening Guys,

So I am having problems with the Virtue theme but I am sure it is a problem with me!

I installed Woocommerce but before that I went into Pages and created > Shop, About Us and Contact Us, I then created subcategories for Shop (Beans > Trucillo > 1000g, 500g, etc)

I went to Menu, and set it up so it will display on my menu.

My issue is when I go to Woocommerce, and go to products, I cannot tag the specific Trucillo product and subcategories. I use to have this template a while back and I dont recall creating my categories by using the Woo commerce category menu.

    The website is https://www.coffeebastioni.com

    Thanks

Hey, did you create the categories through woocommerce or just through the menu area? You can add categories by going to products > categories. Once created you can go into your edit product page and assign each product to a specific category.
    Hope that somewhat helps.

    I tried both!

The menu was created by creating pages then linked them through Appearance > Menus

When I try creating through woocommerce, it does not show on my menu

You have to add the product category as a menu item. It’s not a page so you can just delate all the pages you made and remove the menu items. You need to add category menu items. If you can’t see the category option when your creating your custom menu just click on the top right corner “screen options” button and make sure product categories is selected.

I went into Pages, deleted everything.

I went to Apperance > Menu > deleted everything

I am now under Woocommerce > Products > Categories

I created some but I do not see it on my shop now. https://www.coffeebasitoni.com

Wooaahh don’t delete all your pages! Only the pages you had tried to make as categories. Go to pages > trash and restore your other pages (ie shop, home, etc).
Can you please re-state your question? From my understand you are wanting to add product categories to your primary navigation menu? If you’ve gone to products > categories and created categories then you should be able to go to appearance > menus and select categories to go in your menu. And as Kadence Themes said, you may need to select the “screen options” tab on the top right of the screen and select product categories.
Here’s a tutorial on creating custom menus: https://www.kadencethemes.com/building-displaying-menus/

so this is my issue. I cant seem to get my products to link to my menu.

I restored “Shop” page. That is the only “page” I really need right now.

I now went to categories and created a few categories. Beans > 1000g, 500g, etc.

I now want to link these to my menu.

You need to also restore your home page as this is the page people will first go to in visiting your site.
Did you try doing what we said? Going to appearance > menus clicking screen options and selecting product categories and adding them to your menu?

When I went to edit products > on the side “Product Categories” I clicked 1000g but none of them will link to my actual menu.

When I go to appearance > menus

I only see SOME of the categories that I made going through Woocommerice > Products > Cat.

    (@hannahritner)

And you’re looking under Product Categories, correct? Not just Categories? Did you select “view all”?

So, is this not what you’re wanting? When you select Product Categories and click “view all” are you not seeing all your product categories?
