I have my products and categories entered in my store. When I click the category icon on my shop page, my category only shows text with results of products but no products, no “add to cart” buttons.

After many attempts, I have set up my own pages of these categories using shortcodes and the products show up beautifully.

I have tried for days searching for solutions but found none. I have a designer theme for my wordpress site. Not sure if that is a factor.

    Thank you

I do see some products here https://denamidesign.com/denamiblog/product-category/accessories/ – were those added with a shortcode?

If yes – it might be that your theme (or one of the plugins you’re using) is changing the default WooCommerce behaviour.

You could test whether that’s the case with a plugin/theme conflict test.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:
    ?

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi @denamidesign

I just wanted to follow-up with you on this thread; hope you were able to fix this problem with missing add-to-cart buttons that we had discussed here.

I’m marking this thread as Resolved as we have not heard back from you in a while. If the problem persists though, feel free to reopen this, we would be happy to look into this for you.

    All the best!
