I understand that some products are not visible on the shop page, and are not being found in search results, is this correct?

Please clarify the following:

Do you recall any changes/updates being made to the site before noticing this issue?
Are there any similarities with the products that are experiencing this issue (eg: newly added products, recently updated products, etc)?

As a first step, can you navigate to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:

WooCommerce transients – Clear
Expired transients – Clear
Term counts– Recount terms
Clear template cache – Clear
Regenerate shop thumbnails – Regenerate

Next, please clear your browser cache and then check if these products are now being displayed.

Note: Please ensure that you have a good backup of your full site and database in place before doing the updates, so that, should something go wrong, you are able to easily restore your site to a functioning state.

If this makes no difference, please can you share a copy of your sites System Status Report so that we can have a better understanding of your sites current environment.

You can find this by navigating to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Additionally, please can you navigate to WooCommerce?→ Settings → Products → Inventory and share a screenshot of that page (you can redact any email address added to the Notification recipient(s) field).

Hi Roxy,

Please understand this till I give you an update. I tried some other things too. All products are visible everywhere when I unchecked the option ” Out of stock visibility ” from Woocommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Inventory tab. And, again facing the same issue when I Checked & save the option ” Out of stock visibility “.

My problem is solved By unchecked the option ” Out of stock visibility ” but I don`t want to show out of stock products on my live website and that is why I keep that option Checked again.

Thanks for providing further information about your issue here.

I understand that after disabling the Out of stock visibility field under WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory, the issue has been resolved. However, you don’t want to display out-of-stock products on your catalog, hence, that option is left enabled, correct?

For us to investigate this further, can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled while the Out of stock visibility field is enabled too and see if the products are now showing as expected?

If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

If this did not resolve the issue, please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Still my issue is there – Its a serious issue. My customers are unable to find products which are already in stock and catalog visibility is set to “shop and search results”.

Please Update me as soon as possible so that I can run my online store smoothly.

Hi @jets456 ,

Please understand this till I give you an update. I tried some other things too. All products are visible everywhere when I unchecked the option ” Out of stock visibility ” from Woocommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Inventory tab. And, again facing the same issue when I Checked & save the option ” Out of stock visibility “.

This is very helpful, thanks for sharing your findings!

As a next step, can you navigate back to WooCommerce?→ Settings →?Products?→ Inventory?and check what the “Out of stock threshold” option is set to:

If this is set to a number that certain products have their in-stock levels set to, then it will hide them from being displayed on your site when the “Out of stock visibility” option is checked.

You can remove the number from the “Out of stock threshold” option and see if this resolves the issue.

Thanks for providing an update!

As per your screenshot, I can see that the “Out of stock threshold” is already set to 0.

Since this is set to 0, and your products are in stock, I’d suggest performing the full conflict test as suggested by @xue28, to rule out any theme/plugin conflicts that may be causing the issue.

ok let me run that test – but for that I need to do that at night time as less customers are viewing our website. I will be back with updates and logs.

That sounds like a plan!

Just to add – you can clone your site to a staging environment by using the free WP Staging plugin, this allows you to perform the conflict test without modifying your live site or impacting customers.

Alternatively, you could use the Health Check?plugin. This will allow you to disable all plugins and change the theme, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

I perform your guided steps. It was very hard to do but I did.

My problem is still there. NOT SOLVED. Please read bellow very carefully before you suggest me anything or reply me.

I don`t understand a few things as I read other relevant topics too. For most of the problems, you guys suggested that to use the default theme & plugin. It doesn’t make any sense. Why are you not starting validations for themes & plugins like Shopify? They have each theme & app verified and tested. They never told you to use the default theme or plugin to find/solve any problem. I double checked my product status too. My product is in stock & catalog visibility is set to “shop and search results”.

I think lots of other people is having this issue but none of them knows about it or may be they are afraid to ask support as its a very difficult task to do.

If you reach out to support – they will tell you to do something which will be completely out of the syllabus and that is why he/she left WordPress and start using Shopify.

In the past 2 years, I heard from my 7-9+ folks that they left WordPress and start using Shopify, Just because of the way you guys giving support. They have chat support for everything in Shopify and what do we have? we are playing Email – Email or Ticket – Ticket in this modern time (21st century) & end result is nothing.

In short:– My issue is still there after following your complete guidelines. Please let me know what I have to do.

You can view that product on the website through just a URL by clicking on the “View” option under individual product.

Hello,

I understand how frustrating this can be.

Kindly note that WooCommerce is a modular platform, when a user downloads the plugin, the core version is what they get, you can add all the modules (plugins) that your business needs, www.remarpro.com includes thousands of plugins, and they are developed by different entities, and we can not guarantee any combination to be fully compatible each other.

Also, WooCommerce is free, and the support provided in the forums is made by volunteers.

Regarding the issue, I was checking the system status report:

Failed: 49
Pending: 10

I’d suggest installing WP-Crontrol, to see if there is an issue with the Cron jobs.

I was checking on my site that is using WooCommerce and the default Storefront theme, and PHP 8.0.0, but I was unable to see the issue on my end.

Can you check under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs, to see if there is any error message? If so, please let us know, and sorry for asking.
