    Hi There

    I am able to add products and departments in the backend but if I want to open a new ticket, I have a empty dropdown menu for products aswell for departments.

    What can I do to fix this problem?

    Hi:

    There are two trouble-shooting steps you can perform:

    1. Please you check your Browser javascript Console to make sure there are no javascript errors showing.

    2. Please temporarily disable your plugins and theme and see if the drop-downs are populated then.

    Hi

    As I had no javascript errors I moved to step 2. It was the User Access Manager plugin which caused the problem. So if I deactivate the plugin, the user can see all the products and departments from the dropdown menu. With the plugin activated, some or even all products or departments disappear from the dropdown menu.

    Hi:

    Ah, that makes sense. I bet that plugin is attempting to impose some sort of security constraints over and above the ones we have for our custom post types. I suspect that it might have a way for you to modify that but since we’re not familiar with it we can’t really offer any advice there.
