    Hi Letatr,

Is the link copied from somewhere? It looks like an anchor tag is being included in the link field.

When we tested to replicate the error, that’s the way we were able to get the same link content as on your site. If you put the link directly from the address bar of your browser into the field, it worked fine for us testing the link you sent.

The link is copied from the Amazon Associates page. There is a tab that allows you to highlight html and then copy it. Once copied I pasted that same link into the link field and keep getting errors.

So you’re saying that an “anchor tag” is being included in the copied html? What part is that so that I can remove it? Or what do you suggest that I do to resolve this?

Also, I even put the front page of my site (https://letatrpublishing.com) in the link field to verify if that will work and it didn’t.

    Hi Leta,

    Here’s our test catalogue:

    https://www.etoilewebdesign.com/test-catalogue/

If you click on the first product, it links directly to the amazon page.

Yes it’s working. So what do you suggest that I do to fix my issue?

Maybe there is a newer version of the plugin that I’m not using? But as I mentioned in the previous message, I just downloaded the plugin a few days ago.

That’s weird, but now it’s working. I didn’t do anything extra or different. I pasted the link into the same field as I had before and now it’s working. I will add a few more products and links to ensure that it really works with no other issues.

This issue seems to have been resolved. Thank you very much for all of your help.

Once again I’m having this issue. I do not know why the product link field works sometimes and not others.

Each time I attempt to add a product link, I keep getting the following:

<iframe style=\ inside of the product link, and to the left of the link: ” size=”60″ />

    So in all I’m getting:<iframe style=\ ” size=”60″ />

And this is after adding an Amazon Affiliates link such as: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1492830631/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=1492830631&linkCode=as2&tag=raciname-20&linkId=7UV6WSOF73AQJWPK

Can you please tell me what this error means? Why do I keep getting this error each time I add a product link? How can I resolve this permanently because this constant issue is slowing down the progress in setting up my site?

Thank you for your very prompt response in advance.

    Hi Leta,

It looks like you’re copying the embed code from Amazon. What you want to be putting in is the URL of the page that you want to link to. You can find that in the address bar of the amazon page that you’re looking to link to.

If there’s code other than the URL in what gets put into the “Link” field, then that’s not what should be being copied.
