product_title limit for woocommerce

Hello,

I have a problem in woocommerce with theme from aThemes botiga and some aditional css. In the store i would like the products to have the same size for floatbox or grid layout and need to shorten or limit the length of the product title but several options tried and not found the solution. The code i used in aditional css option:
.woocommerce ul.products li.product h3{
overflow:hidden;
text-overflow:ellipsis;
white-space: nowrap;}
