Product with variable AND simple elements?

    I sell music, both on CD and digital formats.

    I’d like the user to be able to select from a variety of different digital formats, and have the option to buy a CD if they wished – all in the same buying area.

    When I try to combine a variable and a simple product using a grouped product, the variable options are not visible on the product page – I have to visit the separate variable product page.

    The WooComm ‘Product Bundles’ extension seems close, but only seems to combine simple products. I looked at ‘C4D Woo Bundle‘ which looks to provide exactly the solution I need, but sadly doesn’t seem to be supported any longer.

    I’ve searched high and low, am I missing something obvious?

    You can combine variable and simple products in a bundle with Product Bundles.

    Here’s a screenshot of a sample product I set up that way. It has two variable products, but you can mix these too.

    You can also filter the variations if you only wanted to make some visible in the bundle.
