• Hello,

    we have a lot of product variations in our shop and we just noticed when exporting them, that it doesn’t say the name of a product. In the woocommerce orders, it says something like “Order – October …”

    Order – October 29, 2024 @ 01:53 PM

    SKU: NORDMANNPREMIUM-250

    Variation ID:?10142

    taille-du-sapin-en-cm: 250-300

    I don’t know what causes this problem as it works for other products.

    Thx for any help

    Hi @tobiasoptin,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    I understand you’re experiencing an issue with product names not appearing when exporting product variations.

    Just to understand the issue even further, are you able to clarify if you used any other plugins to create the variations? This may involve any plugin that added more features or adjustments to the plugin.

    If the variations were only created using the core WooCommerce plugin, I recommend deactivating all active plugins only leaving the core WooCommerce plugin and export the products again.

    Let us know if this yields different results.

    thx for the answer but it didn’t help.

    I noticed when a client completes an order, it gets shown correctly in the backend but when I do it while logged in with admin, then the order isn’t displayed correctly. I found that the product variations won’t reference the correct product variations.

    #8748?? ? #8740?? ?#8749?? ? #8750?? ? #8751?? ? are some of the variations and when looking at the order it says this:

    Order – November 6, 2024 @ 02:42 PM

    SKU: NORDMANNPREMIUM-225

    Variation ID: 10135

                <div class="view">
            <table cellspacing="0" class="display_meta">
                            <tbody><tr>
                    <th>taille-du-sapin-en-cm:</th>
                    <td><p>225-250</p>

    225-250 × Add meta

            </td>

    So my understanding is that it shows the wrong variation id no?

    I hope this helps.

    Hi @tobiasoptin,

    Thank you for providing a detailed breakdown of the issue. From what you’ve described, it sounds like product variations in exported orders display incorrectly when placed by an admin, but they appear fine for customer orders from the front end.

    To help resolve this, please try the following steps:

    • Update the WooCommerce Database: Go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Update Database to reindex and synchronize variation data, which may resolve any data sync issues.
    • Regenerate Product Lookup Tables: After updating, go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and regenerate the product lookup tables.

    If the issue persists, you might want to run a full conflict test to check if any third-party plugins or themes are contributing to this behavior.

    Please try these steps and let us know if it makes a difference!
