• Hi,

I noticed that if product has variations, for example, Color/Gender/Size, and in product settings we have only Color set, while others are set to Any:

In this case Gender and Size fields will not be added to the Feed:

But if we create variations for all of them, then the data will appear in the feed. While this is impossible to manage so many variations when you have 5 colors, 3 genders and 7 sizes.

In the field mapping I have tried using g:size > pa size and g:size > size (dynamic attribute)

Both only work for non-Any variations.

  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. I am not entirely sure what your question is, however when you do not set size and gender values for your product variations than those values, obviously, are also not added to your feed for those product variations

    Sorry ??

The question is if it’s possible to include variations that are set to ANY without the need to create them separately?

For clothing we create only Color variation (because the color changes), and Gender + Size are not changing, we juts need to know what size the person bought.

It is still not exactly clear to me what you expect in your feed.

What I did as a test is create two variations. One attribute is color (set to red and blue) and the other attribute is size (set to Any). When I create a feed two product variations are being added, a red and a blue variation. The color’s are also in the product details, the sizes not as those are not set for those variations.

Is that not what you want to achieve?

Let’s say that I have a unisex t-shirt with 3 colors (black, red, white) and 7 sizes (XS-3XL).
I use only variation for color, because I want to show how different colors look.
I create three variations for Black, Red, White, and put size ANY.
In the feed I see only color, but no sizes, and Facebook, for example, asks for this info.
If I would create color + size variation, that would create 21 products to manage.
The idea is to provide FB with size data, but don’t create so many products.

    That unfortunately is not possible.

Would this perhaps be an option for you?

What is the difference between Size (dynamic value) nad PA size (custom value)? In the field mapping.

    Hi,

Both are different attributes. Hence, you might have created a few size attributes yourselves or a 3th party plugin you are using (or used in the passed) have added such an attribute.
