• I’m new to woocommerce so bear with me!

I’ve taken over a shoe shop on behalf of a client and they have about 8 Attributes (shoe size, color etc).
If i want to create a product using any of those attributes then i have no problem.

However, any new attributes that i set up won’t display. For example i’ve set up a new attribute called ‘test’ with the variations 1,2, and 3.

I then assign ‘shoe size’ and ‘test’ to a product linking all product variations.

On the product page the options for show sizes show but the options for ‘test’ do not.

    Any ideas?

Like i say i can use any of the previously created attributes no problem, just seems to be the new ones that i create. Is there a maximum number of attributes you can have? In total i’m probably at around 60. (including options for shoe size, color, heel height, toe finish etc…)

  • Have you checked the option on the attribute, that says use for variations?

I have thank you, and i’ve just figured out what the problem was.
It was because i was saving the products as a draft, rather than publishing them.
When saved as a draft and previewed it wouldn’t show both variation options but when i published the item it would let me select both options.
    So strange!
