    Hello,

Recently I switched from prestashop to woocommerce. And I like it in itself because it offers more options, but certain standard options are missing in the package.

I have been looking for an option for a while to indicate delivery times per product.

Now I have already looked at various plugins, but actually it is just not.

For example, I am looking for a plugin that can do the following

All products that are in stock will be added to a sentence. Before 0:00 order tomorrow.

This rule must be overwritable for a product if, for example, a product has a longer delivery time such as

    2 – 5 working days
    2 – 3 weeks
    etc.

If nothing is entered then show standard delivery time.

I would prefer to show this above or below the shopping cart button.

I know there are plugins with estimated shipping time, but these are based on carrier and not based on stock or adjustable per product

    Who can help me

    Hi @speelgoedenzonu

Does the shipping time indicated need to be dynamic? As in, is it calculated somehow or would it work if you could enter it as text somewhere on the product? It sounds like you may need it to be somewhat automated/conditional based on inventory…

I’m not seeing any plugins that add this functionality and it would require some significant code customization to accomplish (basically building a new plugin).

I’m wondering if you could use Shipping Classes to your products based on the delivery time. That would allow you to specify it per product pretty easily.

The next obstacle would be getting that shipping class to show up on the product page and/or checkout. I found this forum discussion and this free plugin that might work for that.

The above approach, however, would not be based on inventory.

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

The transit time could be a text field or something, it dont has to be automated or conditional based on inventory.

    We have basicly
    – On stock with real stock –> shipping same day for 13:00
    – On stock without real stock –> Shipping 2 – 5 days
    – Pre-order products with a custom date on it.

These times need to be seen on the product page, not in the emails or catalog or cart.

I was thinking of abusing the tag field for this and entering it there for every product. And rename the “tag” to verzending :

Yes, a tag could also accomplish this, although I’m thinking the Shipping Class (if you’re not using that for anything) might also work. Since it can be a static field, that does open your options up quite a bit.

    Hi there,

I hope you found the previous reply helpful. We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
