Product Template

    Hi

    I have been adding products to my page for the past three months now, and realised that all my products are basically repeats of each other, with three variation of the products. So, my question is, is there a plugin that can create a product template, that holds the repeated data (sizes, price, weight, etc) and can be used to then make a new product listing to only change the things that need to be changed (image, sky, etc)?

  • Hey Rob,

    That’s a good question. WooCommerce has a built-in feature to duplicate existing products. You could create a product to serve as your template, and then duplicate it whenever you need to create a new product.

    To duplicate a product, go to Products and hover over the one you want to duplicate with your mouse. Then click on the duplicate link there. It will create a draft product that’s a copy of the original.

    Once it’s duplicated you can simply change the elements that are different.
