Product Tab Description & Short Description problem

Have you updated your Sliding theme to a version that is compatible with WooCommerce 2.0.x? If not, please do so and the tabs will go back to as they should.

Thanks for the tip! Yes, I have just upgraded the Sliding Theme to the very latest version, but now experiencing a different bug ??

The Product Main Description is now being merged/added with the Short Description next to the image, and the Product Description Tab has completely vanished ??

Before the upgrade, the Main Product Description was being duplicated under the Short Description. And also showed on the Tab.

Any ideas?

Can I have a link to your site?

Are you using a child theme on top of the Sliding theme?

Have you done any overrides of WooCommerce templates in your theme?

– No 3rd party plugins except for YouTheme WidgetKit which I have disabled and still have the problem.

PS – There is also a bug with “Global Attributes”

If you setup say 3 global attributes, it only allows you to add the first one you captured/created to a variable product. If you add the 1st one it’s fine. But when you click the “add” button to add a second one, nothing happens – no errors, etc, it’s just a dead click. You can however add a custom attribute as a second option in addition to the first global attribute. Think it may be a bug.

Well, this is beyond the support we can offer here. Please use our Support Portal for further help on the issue with your theme (if you haven’t already), since it’s a premium theme.

Are you sure that you’ve set all attributes to ‘Used for variations’ using the checkbox on the attributes tab? And if so, do you get any errors in your browsers console?

My long description is also merged with my short description in the main description field. And no Description Tab appears at the bottom of the product, just the reviews tab.

Same here.. Product Short description is not working anymore.. this is causing more than just proplems as with every product copy it adds an extra enter so my pages getting longer and longer without a single line of text!

Please help…
