Additionally It will be great if you could share your current System Status Report. You can get it by navigating to the WooCommerce / Status section of your site. Once there, click on the Get system report button and then copy it by clicking on the Copy for support button. Then paste it here in a comment.

Hi,

I have tried to execute the snippets you directed me to using the code snippets app. However, this has had no effect whatsoever and the sync continues, but it is syncing with nothing as the connection to facebook has been removed. Please help as I would really like to connect my woocommerce account to facebook asap.

Hi @arn144

To reset the plugin back to a fresh install, removing the existing settings, you can do so by installing the following small plugin we’ve created.

This will add a new tool available at WooCommerce > Status > Tools called “Reset Facebook for WooCommerce settings“. Click the Reset Settings button here, and then navigate back to the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin settings screen to try connecting again.

Try this, then running the snippets from before to see if this removes any added products to Facebook and allows you to resync.

256 Mb memory for PHP-FPM is not enough for this hungry plugin. I had to eventually assign 2G for it to work. This was confirmed through pure trial and error by constantly upping the mem limit until we found the point where it didn’t break.

What @mitchellk is suggesting is what I would recommend as well. I see your site currently has WP Memory Limit: 256 MB.

The site’s PHP memory_limit could be causing the time out.
What the limit should be depends on how much else a site has going on. In a fresh install of WP, WC, and FBW, 128mb was good enough. Once you start adding other memory-intensive extensions (SEO packs, page builders, activity monitors, etc), that changes.

We generally recommend a limit of at least 512MB to ensure that everything is covered, though situations could demand more.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
