I’m running WP v.4.0, and the latest versions of WooCommerce and WPML. The site is bilingual (French & English).

My problem: When I update a product stock quantity in one language, it doesn’t sync in the other language.

I’ve been searching high and low, and found several mentions from last year saying that this issue was fixed in the latest update. I’m running the latest version, and still having the problem.

Then I found this (see last post at the bottom):
    https://wpml.org/2013/06/whats-up-with-wpml-and-woocommerce-multilingual/

How can I disable the “Translation Editor”? It appears to be part of the WPML Translation Management Plugin, but if I disable that, I get this error message:

“WooCommerce Multilingual is enabled but not effective. It requires WPML Translation Management in order to work.”

Even with that plugin disabled, when I update a product in English, the French stock quantity does not sync (and vice versa from FR to EN).

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. This is the last thing to fix before we can go live… I’m SO close! ??

  • HI kimn667,

I suggest you to open a new support ticket in wpml.org. This way we’ll be able to take a deeper look at your site and test it properly until we found whats going on. I think this would be the quickest way to get it fixed. ??

    Thanks,
    Bernat

Thanks so much, but I figured it out. I couldn’t get it to work in a testing environment, but it works when making an actual purchase (I created a $1 product to test it).

    Thanks!

    Glad to hear it! ??
