• I’m investigating replacing Mailchimp with Sendinblue.

Currently I have a store that sells two different types of products – an online course and a webinar.

Purchasers of the online course should be added to a specific list (unless they uncheck the checkbox). This list receives post purchase emails specific to this course every week introducing them to the next lesson.

Purchasers of the webinar should be added to a specific list (unless they uncheck the checkbox). This list receives one or two post purchase emails specific to this webinar including the link to the webinar itself.

With Mailchimp I’m achieving this by adding a “subscriber tag” when a product is purchased which includes the name of the product.

I don’t see an equivalent way of achieving this with Sendinblue. Your WooCommerce plugin looks to simply sync contacts to Sendinblue but not product information. I can trigger an email when a product is purchased, but not when a specific product is purchased.

    Am I missing something here?

It looks like triggering a workflow based on a specific product being purchased is only available though the JS tracking Sendinblue provides.

I would be great if this plugin was extended to allow adding specific product purchasers to specific lists.

In the meantime, setting up this workflow based on the items present in the event doesn’t work for me. This is what I’ve got. The UI for this is very confusing:

There are also docs on what look like a custom modification to the JS that needs to be made? This also is pretty confusing – is this required with this plugin? The product name is already available in the event so I don’t see why I should need to add this.

    Any ideas appreciated.
