Product sorting not working on search results

Hello,

I’m using the oceanwp sorting widget on the shop page and the woocommerce product search widget in the sidebar.
Here’s when the sorting does not work anymore.

1. I do a search in the left sidebar eg. “scrub”. Results are displayed
2. I change the sorting from “Relevantie” to “Sorteer op prijs: hoog naar laag” (so price high to low). It’s doing somehting, but the order has nothing to do with the price.

To check if the sorting works at all, I selected a category like “Cent Pur Cent > Boxen” and then sort on price. That works.

Any help would be appreciated to get sorting working on search results.
