Thank you for having a great plugin like Woocommerce on your platform. I am currently seeking help from the support team on just one issue which is troubling me for 4 days on my Downloadable products Checkout Page and i would really appreciate if you can help me out.

i am still a starting up blogger and I’m using WordPress Version 5.7.2. The Woocommerce Plugin version I am using is 5.3.0 on my site.
The problem that I am facing is as follows:
When I or someone checkout a downloadable file( my products). The product is giving an option to download and it is being downloaded easily ,,,,BUT ,,,,there is immediately appearing a pop up like a slide show of the product that the user has checked out or downloaded. The slide show is appearing on the entire web pages of my site and to every person who views my blog. The product is showing:
1: The location of the user who downloaded the product
    2. The username of that user or downloader/ Customer.
    3. The shop page catalog picture and the link to the location of my product thus the shop page.
Your help on how to remove this slideshow/popup is greatly appreciated.
    Thank You

    Hi @walterch,

This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem
    • If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated.

To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Please make sure you have a backup in place of your site and database. You could also consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong, it’s nice to know that you can restore your site to the previous state.

I’d also suggest installing a plugin called Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community and it allows you to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.

      Thanks!

    Hey @walterch,

    Thanks for your reply.

Your current theme is “Posterity” and in order to switch to Storefront which is our official WooCommerce theme please follow this guide:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/installation-configuration/#section-1

    Hope this helps.

Hi Mirko, i greatly appreciate your effort in helping out. I won the battle, so glad indeed…. The problem was centered on HT Mega (Adon for Elementor Page Builder),i initially installed this plugin because i wanted to create a Vertical menu, but this failed maybe because of my theme or something else, this plugin was conflicting with my Woocommerce Plugin.

The conflict starts when “HT Mega” and one of the two plugins are active, that is:

    (1.) Elementor

(2.) HT Mega – Absolute Addons for Elementor Page Builder

    (3) Woocommerce
When i make both “HT Mega” and “Elementor” active, the conflict begins , thus the slideshow of my downloaded products begin to show-up on the entire site. If i deactivate one of the two plugins (T Mega & Elementor) i do not see the problem even when Woocommerce plugin is activated.

When i deactivate “HT Mega” and leave “Elementor and Woocommerce activated i do not see the proble.

This forced me to conclude that the inclusion of ‘Elementor and HT Mega simultaneously on a shared platform with Woocommerce causes a conflict to pop up, however there might be a deeper root cause to this, may be there is more i must do in future to make all the 3 play around together, you are always there to advice. For now i had to get rid of ‘HT Mega” so that i can find another alternative way of creating my vertical menu.

    Thank you for the support.

    Hi @walterch,

I’m glad you managed to solve the issue and thanks for letting us know as this may help others having a similar problem.

Please always do conflict testing first in case any other issue arises. Since there are very recent versions of WooCommerce, not all other plugins in the market have been fully tested for compatibility and this can cause conflicts.

    Have a great one!
