Can you contact your host and have them temporarily disable the plugins above to see if that fixes the issue?

I’ve just spoken to the host and had them disable the above mentioend plugins, which they did except for Endurance Page Cache as they advise that is critical for the website to function. The issue is still occurring unfortunately. Is there anything else you need to investigate this better?

Alternatively, can you share with us your Error log report? You can find the most recent one by navigating to WordPress Dashboard > WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Thanks for the info on the endurance page cache, but it doesnt seem to be the issue.
there are also no error logs, either its not flagging as an error in woocommerce or woocommerce isnt updating products properly.

Upon checking it appears there are some pending scheduled actions
You can go to WooCommerce > tools > scheduled actions > pending.

And run all of them, please allow some time for them to run properly.

i did that, and all attributes still disappear, short description still doesnt save. shipping profiles and weights of items still dont save.

It appears to be an issue that originates from your Divi theme which is quite outdated. You’re running version 4.9.4 while it’s available an update to version 4.14.8 according to Divi changelog:

You may want to run the update in a staging environment as it could affect your live site. Some hosts have staging sites included in the plan but if you don’t have such a feature, you can create one with the WP Staging plugin.

Thanks for the above – I’ve created a staging area and updated Divi. Are there any other steps that need to be taken to update WooCommerce alongside this, as the issue is still not resolved.

Can you deactivate then reactivate WooCommerce?

If that doesn’t work, can you try this step?

I have tried deactivating all plugins, then only activating woocommerce and this did not work.

I am also having issues following the steps in the given thread. Firstly, this thread doesn’t seem to have been resolved for the user, and secondly the issue seems slightly different as when I use the text editor and save a draft of a product it still reverts back to the old short description instead of giving anything else.

I’ve tried updating a blog excerpt and it updates without issue
