I have reverted to the standard WP theme and only have WooCommerce activated on the site. When I create a new order, in the backend, and click “Add Product”. I then search for the product I need to add however, after typing in “message” I get two completely random products appear even though I have 7 products with the word “message” in the title, two of those start with that word.

    Hi @greencode

I understand that you’re having trouble adding the correct products to a new order in the backend of your site. This might be due to a potential issue with the search function.

To troubleshoot this, please try the following steps:

    1. Clear your browser cache and cookies.
    2. Make sure you’re using the latest version of WooCommerce and WordPress.
    3. Check your product settings to ensure the products with “message” in the title are set to “visible” and “in stock”.
    4. Try to search for the full name of the product to see if it appears.

Additionally, can you head over to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:

    • WooCommerce transients – Clear
    • Expired transients – Clear
    • Clear template cache – Clear
    • Product lookup tables – Regenerate
    • Term counts – Recount terms
    • Regenerate the product attributes lookup table – Regenerate

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

@shameemreza Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve done all of you said. I only have WooCommerce as the only plugin activated along with a default theme. Everything is up to date.

    Still the issue exists.

    Hi @greencode

Based on your description, you mentioned that only WooCommerce is activated among all other plugins while the issue persists, right?

Please, can you share the following:

    • System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerceStatus. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerceStatusLogs.
