product search astra gives incomplete results

Hi, here’s my problem:
The Search results of my Product Search widget in the sidebar in our webshop are not correct (anymore). It seems to only be looking in the H2 title of our products, and not in the description of category. So it only comes up with products that have the search term in the product title.

So E.g. when I search for ‘HP’, it comes up with many results, because the products have the brand in the product title/name. But when I search for ‘Tablet’ or ‘Laptop’ (which are categories) it doesn’t find anything!

I’m using Astra theme (free version) with Brandstore template. I checked the demo site and there it works fine. Also on another website that just had the same theme and template installed, it works fine, also showing results with the search term in the escription or category. So somehow I seem to have messed up something. Need help to figure out what!

I already tried using different Product Search plugins. However, though they come with the right results, somehow they then show them in the default blog result page of wordpress, which is NOT what I need, as this is a blog search result page, showing the results one by one with very BIG image and no pricing info etc.
Deactivating the plugins was the only way to get back the right Search Result Page.

So, I do need the Search Result Page of Astra to be used, but with the right results (including products that have the search term in their description and/or category). Can someone help me figure out how to get this working (again)? Thx.
