Product reviews not displaying despite being enabled

    Hello WooCommerce Support Team,

    I have two websites (kimiahogar.com and grupolumiares.com) using WooCommerce and BeTheme. Despite enabling product reviews in WooCommerce settings, reviews are not showing on product pages.

    I have tried the following:

    • Verified product review settings are enabled.
    • Switched the theme to “Twenty Twenty-Four” to rule out theme issues.
    • Disabled and re-enabled plugins.
    • Cleared cache and used different browsers.

    BeTheme support confirmed it’s not a theme-related issue and recommended contacting WooCommerce Support.

    Your help is much appreciated.

    Thanks for reaching out! Can you please share a clear screenshot of the WooCommerce → Settings → Products → General page? I’d just like to take a quick peek at the settings there and see if we’re able to reproduce this will the exact same configuration.

    Snipboard.io can be used for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

    Additionally, I’d like to take a closer look at your sites current environment to see if there is anything there that stands out as a potential cause. Can you please share a copy of your sites System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for Support.

    And one last piece of information – can you please share any?fatal error logs?(if any) found under?WooCommerce?→?Status?→?Logs.

    Hi @orbitaclick,

    Thank you for sharing further details on this. After checking your system status report, I’m able to notice that your theme seems to be over-riding a couple of your review pages, thus could lead to the issue with the product reviews not displaying.

    Did you already have a chance to switch to a default theme to check if the issue persists? If not, I recommend switching to a default theme like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four to see if the issue persists.

    As for the error message, this seems to be an issue with one of your plugins conflicting with another. I’d recommend running a full conflict test as detailed here to rule out any conflicts. Please be sure to make a full site backup before proceeding with any of the steps.

    I’ve been experiencing an issue with product reviews not displaying on my websites kimiahogar.com and grupolumiares.com. Below is a detailed summary of all the actions I’ve taken so far to try and resolve the issue:

    Review settings:

    I have verified that the reviews option is enabled globally and for individual products.
    Theme switch:

    I switched to the "Twenty Twenty-Four" theme as well as the default WooCommerce theme, "Storefront," to rule out any theme-related issues with BeTheme, but the problem persists.
    Plugin deactivation:

    I deactivated all plugins, including cache plugins, and reactivated them one by one, but the issue remains.
    I also disabled server-side cache (Magic Cache) from my hosting provider (Webempresa), but this did not resolve the problem either.
    Custom code and snippets:

    I reviewed and removed any custom code snippets that could potentially be causing a conflict, but this did not fix the issue.
    Comparison with another site:

    I have another WooCommerce site on the same server, using the same theme (BeTheme) and configuration, and reviews are working perfectly there. This makes me believe the issue is specific to kimiahogar.com and grupolumiares.com.
    Product template review:

    I checked the product page template, ensuring the review blocks and star rating elements are in place, and everything seems to be configured correctly.
    Testing in incognito mode and different devices:

    I’ve tested the sites in incognito mode and on various devices to rule out cache or cookie issues, but the reviews still don’t display.
    Logs and errors:

    I reviewed the site logs and found some errors related to the Nacex plugin, which I temporarily disabled to see if it resolved the issue, but there was no improvement.
    Despite following all these steps, the issue remains unresolved, and I’m unable to determine why product reviews aren’t showing on these specific sites.

    It seems like you’ve gone through quite a few troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

    To clarify, you’ve enabled the reviews for each product via the Product edit page → Product data → Advanced section, yes?

    If this option is disabled for the Product, the reviews won’t show up on the Single product page, so I’d just like to double-check this.

    If that looks good, can you try deactivating and reactivating WooCommerce and see if this does the trick? If that doesn’t work, can you try forcing a refresh by navigating to?WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and selecting the following:

    • WooCommerce transients?–?Clear transients
    • Expired transients?–?Clear transients
    • Clear template cache?–?Clear

    Next, please?clear your browser cache?and then check if the Product reviews are now being displayed correctly.

    Thank you for the suggestion. I’ve double-checked that reviews are enabled for each product in the Product data → Advanced section, so that setting is configured correctly.

    I’ve also already tried deactivating and reactivating WooCommerce, and I forced a refresh by going to WooCommerce → Status → Tools and performing the following actions:

    • Clearing WooCommerce transients
    • Clearing expired transients
    • Clearing template cache

    After doing this, I cleared my browser cache and tested again, but the product reviews are still not displaying.

    I would appreciate any further recommendations, or if you could look into whether there might be a deeper issue causing this behavior on my sites kimiahogar.com and grupolumiares.com.

    Hi @orbitaclick! I had a look at both your site and it seems like reviews are enabled, but perhaps they are either not displaying where you expect them, or they’re not displaying because you haven’t collected any reviews yet?

    I added test reviews on both sites; here on grupolumiares.com and here on kimiahogar.com. Both of them had the title Rese?as de Clientes below the product descriptions. It seems like they were not showing any review details, simply because no reviews have been left. Now that I’ve added sample reviews, the sections show stats and the respective reviews as expected.

    Let us know if this resolves the issue, or please add additional details and context if there something else not right.

    Hi,

    After trying everything and contacting WooCommerce support, the Theme support, and the hosting support without finding a clear solution regarding the native review system, I decided to integrate Judge.me as the review system. It works quite well and was easy to implement. Thank you for the help, but it seems like something within the native WooCommerce setup is causing incompatibility. For now, I will continue using Judge.me.
