Product review spanning across whole category

    Hello!

    I was wondering if there’s an option to display product reviews for each product that’s in a specific category.
    For example – Product 1 has a 5 star rating which also shows below Product 2.
    Meaning that they’re in the same category and are similar and the reviews are duplicated for each of them.

    Hi there,

    There’s no built-in functionality in the WooCommerce plugin for displaying product reviews across a whole product category — a single review is just for a single product.

    I was doing some searching, however don’t see any plugins available for enabling that either.

    Adding that would require loading all products in the category and compiling all the reviews for each one when generating the page for the product. This could seriously impact performance, so it would be better to generate some sort of pre-compiled cache of related reviews for each product in a category. Or move the reviews to be tied directly to a category, rather than a product.
