    Hi, I recently downloaded and started using the Blocksy theme. First, let me say I love it, and it’s just amazingly good.

    However, I do have one question. This is probably a stupid question, but I’m somewhat of a noob at WordPress. I wanted to try and transform the review posts on my website using the Product review type of post.

    However, when I went to try and do it by basically copying and pasting the posts, I found that the new product review post didn’t show up at all and gave me an error saying the page didn’t exist.

    I understand it not showing up on its own on any of the regular pages because I didn’t assign it to any categories at first, but normally that would still create an “orphan page/post”.

    I tried adding new categories in the product review and assigning it to them, but they still wouldn’t show up when I click the link to those sections on my website.

    What I’m trying to ask is what am I doing wrong that’s causing any new “product review” type posts to not show up on the website at all?

    First off, have you updated Blocksy and its Companion plugin to their latest versions? They need to be up to date and in sync to function properly.

    Second of all, the website you’ve linked here does not work. Can you please check that, so we can check from our end?

    And finally, does the Product Review post type appear on your WordPress dashboard? Have you tried clearing the permalinks cache, since on some setups this might not get cleared out automatically. Simply go to Settings -> Permalinks and push the Save Changes button without making any change.

    Yes, the plugin and theme are completely up to date, and the product review post type does appear on my WordPress Dashboard.

    I just tried doing the permalinks instructions you gave. I’m not sure how that works, but that seems to have fixed the issue. I can now see a basic product review when I publish one instead of the “doesn’t exist error I was before.

    Yep, on some setups, the permalinks cache doesn’t get cleared out automatically and you have to do it manually. Though, the result is important which is positive.
