Product request/ Want list

    Hey guys, I have a client looking for a way to add product requests to their site. Its like the wishlist, but they want it for products that don’t yet exist. When a product is added that matches their inquiry, the customer would be automatically notified.

    Does anything like that exist?

  • Hi there,

    The simplest way is that you can make use of a contact form on a page and ask for the product request. And manually notify them when the request is completed.

    Also, you can use bbPress – https://bbpress.org/ to create forums for your product request and have discussions around that.

    If you want to collect the data and automatically inform the user after the request is completed, that won’t be possible with the core WordPress or WooCommerce feature. You can make use of some code customizations in order to achieve that.
