In the Product List widget, I cannot list the products by tag. I can list them by category, rating, etc. All the other options work, except for the tag one.

The other plugins seem to have nothing to do with it. So maybe it’s a bug. Pls help, thanks.

  • Hi loccol,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

After thorough testing in our environment, we couldn’t replicate the issue with the Product List widget query by tag; it appears to be working flawlessly, (video).

    • Ensure all website caches are cleared, including those from plugins, browsers, servers, or CDNs like Cloudflare.
    • Temporarily disable any cache/optimization plugins.
    • Reset permalinks by selecting a random structure, saving it, then selecting the previous link and saving it again.

If the problem persists, conducting a conflict test can help identify any environmental conflicts. Here are the steps to perform the test:

    1. Deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce, Elementor, and ShopEngine.
    2. Switch to a default WordPress theme, such as Twenty Twenty or Hello Elementor.
    3. Check if the issue persists.
    4. Reactivate plugins one by one, testing after each activation. In this way, you will be able to detect which one causes the problem.

Let me know your findings after performing these troubleshooting tests.

    Regards

    Hi,

Thanks for your help. I’ve gone through all these steps, and I was wrong, because after all it was another plugin: Elementskit.

If it is disabled, I’m able to list my products by tag.

If it is activated, I can’t. Even on pages where I don’t have a header and a footer (which were made with Elementskit)

Since it’s also a wpmet plugin, can you please have a look at it? (whether you also have this problem combining these two plugins)

    Thanks again
