When this plugin is active the “publish” or “save draft” buttons on the product page stop working. As soon as plugin is deactivated they work again. This was not happening a few days ago, look like it has started with the couple last updates.

    Any help is appreciated.

We’ve also run into this issue. A Javascript issue appears when you click publish or update and prevents the actual WordPress functionality from firing. Unfortunately the plugin had to be disabled until this issue has been patched.

    Hi @diogolmadm and @howdy_mcgee!

Thanks for your posts, really appreciate it. ?? We here at SkyVerge just recently took over the development and support of the plugin, so we’re working our way through various bug fixes.

This one in particular is just about fixed — it’s currently in review. Look for this to be resolved in the next plugin update.

Again, thanks so much for the posts about this. We’re always grateful to hear what our users are having trouble with so that we can fix things up.

Hello, any news about this? We’re also experiencing the same issue and the latest update didn’t fix it.

@mairag The latest update did resolve the issue for me. Could it be a separate plugin or a caching issue?

    Hi @mairag and @howdy_mcgee!

Thanks so much for your patience. We’ll need a bit more information on the exact issue you’re currently experiencing to look into this further. For instance, it would be great if you could pass on the JavaScript error that you saw @howdy_mcgee, and it would be doubly great if you could confirm if you also see the same issue @mairag!

We’re not seeing any specific issues updating products in our local test sites at the moment with the latest version, so being able to see what product type you are trying to update, or any other commonalities between products that work and those that don’t would be a great help in tracking this issue down further for you.

If you’d prefer, you can contact us directly so that we can take a closer look at the site and investigate this further by raising a request via our via our support form.

Could you let me know if there is any additional information you can pass on, or if you’ll be contacting us directly?

    Cheers!

    Simon.

    Hello!

This is the error I was seeing when trying to update o Publish a product:

I disabled all plugins and enabled them one by one again, didn’t find which one caused the issue but it seems the error is gone for now.

    Thanks!

    Hey @mairag!

Thanks for passing on the error. From what I can tell, the only split method used in the scripts seems to be when trying to parse the product tags when updating a product.

Do you remember what product you were updating at the time when the error appeared and if you try and update the same product now does it still cause an issue?

    Cheers!

    Simon.

    Hi again!

Sadly, the error appeared again this morning. I’m not editing the Products (I take care of the web maintenance) so I’m not sure what part of the product was being edited, but I’ve tested editing several products and they all have the same error, mostly tried changing the price…

The error shows up when I click on the Update/Publish button.

EDIT: I think the culprit is a Yith filter plugin, doing some more testing now.

    Hey @mairag,

Thanks for keeping me in the loop! If you’re still having the error appear after troubleshooting with the Yith filter plugin, I’d be happy to take a closer look. To do so, I’d probably need to take a look at the site directly with an admin login.

Rather than share that information publicly, it would be great if you could raise a support request via our support form. We can then be in touch directly!

Could you let me know how you get on with your additional testing?

    Cheers!

    Simon.

Hello! I’ve removed the plugin and everything works fine for now, I’m using a different product filter plugin.

    Many thanks!

    Hey @mairag,

Ahhh, that’s awesome! Thanks for keeping me in the loop. I’ll make a not of this internally in case we see other merchants with a similar issue and the Yith plugin installed.

Thanks so much for sticking with us! I’ll mark this as closed for now then, but if you have any other questions or issues, please do let me know!

    Cheers,

    Simon.
