    Hello

i have a slight issue with product pages that have multiple variations in them, when you click on the dropdown box in the page that i have provided you can see that it does say out of stock next to certain ones, but when you click on them, nothing really happens, but then once you select one of the out of stock and click add to basket the page will reload and display the error message “ou cannot add “Wool Lined Suede Moccasin with Rubber Sole – Light Brown – UK 8″ to the basket because the product is out of stock.”
and below the selection it will say ‘out of stock’ and a link to a email when back in stock below that, and if you then just select one that is in stock these two go away and re appear when another out of stock is selected.

would it be possible to make is so that the ‘out of stock’ message is show as soon as an out of stock variation is clicked, before having to click on the add to basket the first time.

thank you for any help and if any addition information is needed i am happy to provide!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

If you go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory, there is an option to “Hide out of stock items from the catalog”. If this is enabled then the out of stock variations shouldn’t show up as a selectable option.

However there are also some JavaScript errors showing up on your page. This might interfere with how the options are displayed.
I’d suggest to resolve the JavaScript errors first and check if there are any theme/plugin conflicts which could be causing this.

i still want the out of stock ones to show, its just you have to click add to basket before it will say out of stock below the selection box, i want this to load as soon as the variant is clicked like how it comes and goes automatically after first time of trying to add to basket

WooCommerce will do this by default! It sounds like your theme might be doing an override which does not display the Out of Stock by default.

If you switch to a default theme, do you see this happen?
