    Hello!

My question concerns products variations and product page particularly. My client has a WooCommerce store and the store contains many products. As an example in the link I provided, there are many variations on each product. Now, when I choose a certain variation from the dropdown menu, product picture changes as it should displaying that variants picture. But, when I scroll the variants from the gallery below the main product picture, dropdown menu doesn`t update when a certain variant is displayed in the main product picture. This is confusing to stores clients.

Stores manager wants that these are connected: the dropdown and the variation gallery. Variation gallery can look different, it just needs to be linked to the dropdown and vice verca. As I said, now the dropdown only updates the product picture.

Is there a plugin or a any other solution to this?

Many thanks in advance if someone knows a solution to this!

    Hello akiniskanen,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

What you’re describing is the default behavior of WooCommerce.

While selecting a variation from the dropdown updates the main product image, the reverse—changing the dropdown selection based on clicking an image in the gallery—isn’t built into WooCommerce by default.

To achieve the functionality you’re looking for, where the dropdown and the variation gallery are linked, you would need custom development. Unfortunately, I am not aware of any plugin that offers this exact feature at the moment.

A developer could create custom code to sync the dropdown with the gallery, ensuring the two work together seamlessly. You might want to consider contacting a developer at Codeable or WooExperts.

    I hope this helps.
