Product page images freezing the page when selected

  • When I click on an image on any of the product pages on our website, it enlarges but instead of allowing me to use forward and back buttons to scroll through all the other images on that page, the page freezes. I can’t scroll, I can’t close the enlarged image and I have to use the “go backwards one page” arrow to get out of the frozen page. This is using Mozilla Firefox as a browser. I tried it using Internet Explorer and the problem was not repeated. I am not a technical guy. Our web developer is very difficult to get hold of and I have been trying to find an “idiots solution” to this problem. Can anyone help this “floundering in the dark” wordpress user?

    Try deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any could be responsible. If none are, keep all plugins deactivated and switch to the Twenty Fifteen/ Fourteen theme to see whether it could an issue with your theme.
