Product Page 404 Error

Hello,

Likely i’m just not understanding how the page structuring works, but for months I have not been able to figure out how to not have a 404 error on my when I click “product” on my page structuring.

If I go to any of my products then click the step down in the page structure (sorry my explanation may be poor) I always get a 404 error. Example: Home > product > actual product page. The product page displays correctly, but if I click the “product” part of it I get a 404 error. I think this is probably causing my issue with search engine ranking that i’ve experienced since i started my website.
