Product option that uses attribute values?

    Hi,

    I am wondering if this plugin can be used for a spare parts website. I use the attribute ‘Model and Type’, because I like customers to be able to search for this attribute in order to find the spare part that are suitable for their electrical device.
    But now comes the part for which I hope to be able to use your plugin.
    Instead of just showing all attribute values (=electrical device Model en Type names) at the additional information tab at the product page I want users to be able, no, I want to force users to pick the electrical device they have (to reduce returns).
    So, I need some kind of fselectlist or at least dropdown, a product option, to be filled with attribute values. This will be at the product page and need to be filled before the user can click the add to cart button. Can this be done with your plugin?`
    Using product variations would lead to huge loading times so that’s why I am exploring the possibilities op product options.

    Hi,

    you can use woocommrece custom product addon plugin n your spear arts site. And you an display addon field with addon price based on the attributes using conditional logic.

    please note that the custom product addon fields are custom meta fields that have no stock management function. Also please try our demo site to check.

    Hi,
    So you’re saying that I don’t have to add for example 1500 field values in your plugin manually (if the spare part is suitable for 1500 electrical devices and the quantity of attributes terms that can be added by a simple import is 1500)?
    Please explain how, i checked the demo yesterday and I could find a way to do this.

    The price for a certain spare part is always the same, so it’s independent of what devices the spare part is ordered for.
