Product option that uses attribute terms? Or could I import product values?

    Hi,

    I am wondering if this plugin can be used for a spare parts website. I use the attribute ‘Model and Type’, because I like customers to be able to search for this attribute in order to find the spare part that are suitable for their electrical device.
    But now comes the part for which I hope to be able to use your plugin.
    Instead of just showing all attribute terms (=electrical device Model en Type names) at the additional information tab at the product page I want users to be able, no, I want to force users to pick the electrical device they have (to reduce returns).
    So, I need some kind of fselectlist or at least dropdown, a product option, to be filled with attribute terms. This will be at the product page and need to be filled before the user can click the add to cart button. Can this be done with your plugin?`
    Using product variations would lead to huge loading times so that’s why I am exploring the possibilities op product options.
    If I cannot use those attribute terms as product option values is there any way I could import the product option values? Adding 1500 product option values manually is quite labor intensive..

    Unfortunately, there is no direct option available in our plugin.

    In the lite version of our plugin, we are saving the extra product fields in the option key “thwepof_custom_sections”.

    Inorder to achieve your requirement, you may need to add custom code.
