Product name in Stock Central cannot display correctly

    Hi, a few question and comment…

    The product name in “Stock Central” cannot display correctly. Is there a way to fix?

    Besides, the name displaying is too short for actual usage. I would recommand to show the full product name instead, or as an option so that I an enable/disable to display the product names in full. You may make names that’s really too long staying in a overflow:hidden element.

    If the product name can be edited in the same way editing the price and quantity, it will be super helpful !

    I do not quite understand the meaning of “Override ‘Out of stock’ Status” option. Is there a doc or page for us refer to?

    Thank you very much for your post.

    I am sorry you feel disappointed about the way the name is shown. By default ATUM displays 20 characters and full name on hover. We really want to keep it this way as it is the best option for great UX. Our developers will add a hook into the code in the next update, so you can customise the number of characters shown (this is the only thing we can help you with for now).

    Editing product name in Stock Central: The quick product edit will be included in the future. We hope to introduce this feature in 2018.

    Thanks for detailed replying. I see your point. Adding the hook and allow us to decide the number of characters displaying will be a great feature! Really looking forward to see this soon.

    How about the non-english characters not beening show correctly? It looks like it’s realated to “…” abbreviation generated by the plugin.

    One more thing to suggest… We always have to view a product. But we cannot do it directly on “Store Central”. It will be great if you can add a small eye icon at the front of each row that can go to the single product page when clicking on it.

    Our team will test the foreign characters. Hope we can see the error in our dev environment.

    To view or edit a product, click the product name or product thumbnail to edit.
