Product Missing?

I have around 800 items listed on eBay. Whilst setting up WP lister I want to ensure that I am only testing a single item incase I do something wrong. I adjusted the settings to only import 1 item which it did sucesfully and only the 1 single listing is showing in my woocommerce products list.

However, when I go to the WP-lister products section it is showing my imported listing at the very top and below it is showing all of my other 799 ebay listings below it but next to each one it says ‘product missing’ – this product has been deleted. I was concerned since all of these missing products are showing the status ‘changed’.

The “Product missing” message in WP-Lister means that the Woocommerce product that was previously connected to the eBay listings were deleted.

You should never delete a WC product that is connected to an eBay listing with WP-Lister. You should always first archive the listing in WP-Lister’s “Listings” page, then delete the WC product.

If you want to end the eBay listing you should first end the listing on the “Listings” page of WP-Lister by either using the link that appears when you mouse over the listing, or the bulk action drop down menu. If you don’t want to end the eBay listing leave it and simply delete the listing from WP-Lister by selecting the listing and selecting the “Move to archive” option in the bulk action drop down menu and click “Apply”. Then visit the “Archive” section and permanently delete the listing. Then after that you can delete the WC product.

So what you need to do is locate the listings that show “Product Missing” on the “Listings” page of WP-Lister and remove them using one of the 2 options explained above.

It sounds like you want to keep the eBay listings and not end them. So all you need to do is use the “Move to archive” bulk action option on the listings page of WP-Lister for the listings that show “Product Missing”. That will only remove those listings from WP-Lister, it will not end the listings on eBay.

These may be from a previous import, I’m not sure but I want to ensure that all of these listings are deleted from woocommerce and will not effect my ebay listings or their stock levels until I decide to perform a full update again.

At this time I am simply setting up, testing and trying to familaise myself with WP so I want to insure I have have a single product imported imported incase I make any mistakes.

How do I remove these previously deleted products to ensure that they dont change any of my ebay listings? I only want the single item that I imported to effect ebay at this time.

In the woocomerce products section it is only showing the one single product as being live and no trace of the others so I think they may be remnants of a previouse import.

That is most likely what is going on here.
