How can I decide which products will be synced. Hidden products should not be synced with google or facebook.

This is not correct. I found in the product feed on facebook product ads from hidden and “out of stock” products as active. This really should be deactivated.

    Hello,

It’s Katerina from ROI Hunter Easy. Thank you for your reply. You are right that the out of stock products are active in the Product Catalog as we don’t deactivate them automatically. They are, however, marked as out of stock and should not be shown in any ads. Also, as our ads are dynamic retargeting, previous visitors to your website can be only shown the products they were browsing before.

Could you please provide your store URL so that we can check everything is set up well?

Have a wonderful rest of the day!

    email already sent

    Hello,

It’s Katerina again. Thank you for the email. I’m just checking your Product feed and I can see that there are various products marked as out of stocks which means that their serving is stopped automatically. There’s no need to be worried about it.

I’ll also get in touch with you regarding the problem with login. If you have any other questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us.

    Best wishes,
    Katerina

With the update 1.0.1 of today it’s working better with wordpress and woocommerce. Thanks fo this.

But still it’s not possible to get the products into facebook ads. Facebook don’t accept the ads because of their rules. This is ok, because this product are hidden and without stock – I know about this rules of facebook and google.

But the plugin is transfering them to facebook aswell, an so I will never will get an OK for the product feed as long as I’m transfering not allowed products (which already are hidden and not buyable anymore in my shop). You really should find a solution to filter this products for the product feed or an option where I can decide to filter them or not in the product feed.

    Hello,

Great to hear that it’s working for you with the new release.

Unfortunately, it’s currently not possible to choose which products are uploaded to your Product Catalog. By default, we upload all products while the out of stock products are not shown in the ads and you can also deactivate other products you don’t want to show. If deactivating products doesn’t work for you, you’ll probably need to remove them from your store to start running the ads. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

We value your feedback and we’ll definitely consider adding the option to edit products. Our plugin is new and there’s still a lot of work to be done, however, I agree that this might be useful for more users.

    Kind regards,
    Katerina
