Product Inventory template – Include link?

Hi there,

Right now there’s no way to include a link to the Product Inventory template.

Adding an Amazon link or a “buy now” button is an interesting concept. It’s a departure from our current product inventory, but it’s something worth bringing up to the team.

Do you have any other requirements that would go into a list type like that? Maybe multiple links? More emphasis on pricing? Let me know and I’ll see what we can do.

Well to make the Product Inventory template usable for Amazon Affiliates, it would be great to have the ability to use shortcodes within the spreadsheet. This would make your plug-in interface nicely with other Amazon Affiliate plug-ins such as ‘Amazon Link’ that uses shortcodes to show things such as live pricing.

I know that the shortcode capability may not be possible since data is input through a google spreadsheet, but adding a link or 2 to the template would be great. I assume this is doable since some of the other templates have links in them.

Just wondering if there any updates on the ability to use a link in the product inventory template?

Also, it would be ideal to be able to change the names on the header in the spreadsheet (e.g. change ‘Price’ to ‘Cost’). This applies to all templates.

I love the layout and functionality of your plug-in but unfortunately these little things hold me back from being able to use it.
