Product in stead of variation

    Hello, thanks for a great plugin.

    Just one question; we have a lot of products with many variations. Like legging XXL, XL, L, M, S, etc. To show these on sale as separate items might nog be tempting for viewers to click on when it’s not their size. So, they might ignore it while the other sizes are also on offer, but they don’t see that. Is there a way to show the main product in the notifications and not all the variations of it?

    Hi @martijnchel ,

    Could you kindly show some images of the backend notification settings you are using on your site for me to check?

    When you choose to display the On Sale Product notifications, the parent/main product will be displayed by default since there is an option for previewing products in Quick View popup, variations could not be visible.

    I am not sure I get your question. Please clarify.

    I’m confused. Is this the same plugin we are talking about?
    I contacted the developer via his website and he gave a code to fix this. So, what I described was correct. All variations were shown, not the main product. And there’s no Quick View showing when chosen in the settings.

    Hi @martijnchel ,

    Yes, possibly you mistook the plugin since our Smart Notifications doesn’t regard variations in notification popup. Only the main product or parent variable product matters.

    Since this is fixed from your end, I will consider your case closed and mark this as Resolved now.
