    Hi,

I am importing the products from a CSV. Products are imported successfully except that the variation products are not ‘Enabled’. I then have to manually edit each product and check ‘Enabled’ under Variation and then the product shows variations.

    Check screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/IhpyFRQ
I had to manually tick “Enabled” in order to display the variations.

    Can you pls help?

    Hi there,

Just to make sure, are you using the core importer that comes with WooCommerce or one of the premium CSV import extensions on https://woocommerce.com?

If it’s the former, would you mind uploading a copy of the CSV file somewhere and pasting a link to it here? We’d need to check the CSV file to troubleshoot this some more ??

    Thanks!

    Hi RK,

    Thanks for your response.

I think I’m using the core Importer of Woocommerce.

Here’s a link to the file that I tried importing: https://files.fm/u/tb2wvym4

Pls check and let me know your findings.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Thanks for that CSV file – it came in pretty handy.

When looking at the columns, it seems that Attribute 1 visible is set to 0 – which means it’s not visible on the front end.

Also, it seems you have a second attribute set as well, but there’s no corresponding Attribute 2 visible column at all.

To compare things, have a look at the CSV file I generated from my own local testing installation that contains the corresponding columns ??

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks mate.

    That was very helpful.

Can you pls also tell how to import a product as a Draft instead of Published or Private? Currently when I set the Published condition to ‘-1’ it imports as private.

    Hi @mike901

You can use the Published column to managed that per product. Here is a support page the with formatting help you need:

    Thanks a lot.

In the sample file https://files.fm/u/tb2wvym4 I have added the same product in two rows (variable and variation). Is it not possible to add the same variable product in just 1 row so that it saves time? Is this possible?

    Hi Team,

I’m still facing problem while trying to import variable products. The problem is that the Variation are not showing under Variations tab.

    Pls see screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/K3XIkwh
(I need to add variations manually in Variations tab)

    Test file here: https://files.fm/u/uxx9fp4b

How to add variations under Variations tab while importing products itself?
