Product Images not available

I am just investigating Catalog X and it looks like what I need.

One thing I have noticed is that when I add products it doesnt allow me to add a product image. I can add one in the description, however that means it does show as an icon in the product listings and I am left with the default image.

The documenation suggests I should be able to add an image, unless I need multiple in which I can I need an extension.

Any hints on what I am doing wrong?
