Product images get cut off in the Product listing page

  • Hi –

    I have pictures with 320x500px dimensions for my Product page but whatever changes I make in the WC–>settings–>products–>image sizes there is not even a single change happening.

    what I did:
    1) Empty the cache
    2) Used bigger dimensions in the WC settings
    3) checked off the Crop – No crop
    4) Regenerate the images in the Media
    3) Refreshed the page

    Nothing happens!…I’ve been dealing with this for past two days with no luck!
    Can you pls let me know where the problem is?

  • Hey,
    The theme has a built in crop for the product images. You can turn this off in the theme options > shop settings. That will then make your woocommerce settings apply.

    That solved the issue!!!

    one thing i notice is the length of the images are not showing up all at the same length even though I scaled the images all at the same size of 320×500 px. It looks messy in the product page.

    Can you post a link? If they are all the same I don’t know why they wouldn’t be all the same in your grid.

    The website is not live yet. Is there anyway I can send you a screenshot?

    I see people having the same issue and had solved it with adding some codes in the style.css or the configuration.php file. Is there any similar solution for this theme?

    I’m sure there is a way to style it so they are even with css. Just have to see what is going on to know. you can post a screen shot here but it’s not likely to help. If the images are all different sizes and you need some tricky css then I would need to have a link and in that case you can just post back here when you upload.

    But one thing to try right now it go into the theme options > shop setting. Scroll down to the product title settings and change the Product title Min Height to 80.

    That actually solved the issue! Thanks again!

    interesting was the width of the images were different by 2-3 pixels from 320 (not all ‘exactly 320px’ width) and that was impacting the misalignment of the images as well.
