    Hello,

So are the products showing up on the archive pages with the default placeholder image, or are they not showing up at all? Could you please provide a site address so I can take a look?

The products show up in a search and on the Gift Shop Page, not sure about the default placeholder image. I tried checking the permalinks. Hope this is the correct site address: https://69.195.124.192/~corytile/

I see images are set on all products, it’s just the category without an image set. Change that in Products > Categories.

Okay thanks, I have a product category Coasters and then subcategory as Coaster Single. So from there I cannot get an image to appear under either product category.

I’m still not completely sure what you are referring to. Could you link to the pages maybe and mention where you want an image?

I see you have these custom pages set up, but they are just empty: https://69.195.124.192/~corytile/gift-shop-personalized-custom-image/coasters/
    https://69.195.124.192/~corytile/gift-shop-personalized-custom-image/coasters/coaster-single/

You can add categories or products to those pages using the WooCommerce shortcodes: https://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/

The product is Coaster Single. I have product image with a Mazzocco logo on it. The product includes check boxes for Gift Shop, Coaster and Coaster Single. But the product image does not appear under coaster single only under the Gift Shop. The following link is where I would like to see the image. https://69.195.124.192/~corytile/gift-shop-personalized-custom-image/coasters/coaster-single/

This is just a regular WordPress page. If you want to show product details there (not sure why you’d not want to use the real single product page though), you can use a shortcode.

We have about 40 types of products. I would like to categorize products under the Gift Shop. The subcategory I am currently working on is coasters. I would like to put 4 different coaster products under this subcategory. The product shows up under the Gift Shop but not the subcategory. When I put the coaster single there with a Mazzocco logo, it does not appear under this category. Hope this makes sense, not sure how to subcategorize products.

The custom page you linked to is just an empty page though? You would at least need to add a shortcode to the page in order to show the product on it: https://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/

Like Mike mentioned though, it would be better to use the actual product and category pages. This is the page that shows up here: https://cld.wthms.co/1l5St/1JLFhsdA. You can view your categories in a similar fashion: https://cld.wthms.co/ft4K/56Rj9THJ

If you add a product to a parent and sub category, it should show up on both of the category pages. If it doesn’t, then you have a plugin or the theme causing a conflict.

This more-so just sounds like you don’t quite understand how the product and category pages work though.

Ha…Yes, I am learning this WordPress stuff and certainly the videos, documentation and forums have been quite helpful.

As far a assigning a product to a category, I thought you just checked the appropriate product category boxes along the right side of the screen. So far, I assigned two products to a sub category called Coasters and cannot get either to show up.

Still looking for the actual product shortcode to use as you mention in your link.

I really think there could be a conflict with the plugin and/or theme. The products were imported from our current website at corytileart.com, not sure if that makes a difference.

Maybe if you see the category archive things will make sense. Go to Products > Categories, find one in the list, hover over it and click ‘view’. This is the archive. You should see a product grid.
