Product image not resizing

  • Hi.
    I just started a new shop and added the first products.
    While some display the image correct others that are way larger aren’t resized but shown in full size.
    I thought that all images are automatically resized and even used a resize thumbnail plugin but it did nothing.
    I think the problem might be the fact that the image itself is smaller in width than the normal 600px that are in the system.
    It is therefor resized to 600 width but the height is also resized and the 1:1 step is ignored.
    That’s why the image is blurry and gigantic in size.
    How can I change that?
