    Hi! Have you tried Nelio Content? It’s our newest plugin and it also implements External Featured Images; if I’m not mistaken, it fixes the problem with Facebook shares. Give it a try and let me know!

    If you use a regular featured image, does it appear on Facebook?

    OK. What theme do you use? Is it available for free? If it isn’t, please send me a copy here: customers at nelio software dot com.

    Next, do you use a plugin for including featured images in Facebook? Some themes don’t include them by default, and you need plugins such as Yoast SEO for that.

    Another important thing is iam using nextscripts for auto posting in facebook.

    That’s great, thank you very much for all the information.

    One last question: what’s the URL of your site? Can you please share the URL of a post in your blog that uses an external featured image?

    Hi again.

    I looked at your website and the meta tag that Facebook needs to display the post is properly set:

    <meta property="og:image" content="https://n2.sdlcdn.com/imgs/b/7/u/Janasya-Blue-Silk-Saree-SDL224584287-1-7327a.jpg" />

    If you share the post on Facebook, its preview should include the external featured image.

    I think the problem might be in Nextscript’s plugin, which publishes the post in Facebook by posting the featured image itself (instead of simply “sharing” the link). Is this possible?

    I looked at their source code and it’s quite a mess. I can’t help you much, because there aren’t any filters or hooks we can use to fix the issue… and editing their source code directly is not going to solve the issue.

    Did you know that you can also use Nelio Content to share your content on social media?

    But there is not auto posting option brother

    Yes, I know. In the current version of the plugin, you need to click on “Add Social Message” after you write a post (using the “Social Media” box in the edit post screen) and create the Facebook message manually. It only takes a couple of clicks and you’ll schedule a Facebook message that’ll contain the title of your post and a link to it. Sure, you need to do those two clicks… but it’s better than nothing.

    Anyway, we’ll work on a new “auto posting” feature, so that our plugin’s behavior are closer to your current plugin’s. Hopefully, this new feature will be available by the end of the month.

    Does this work for you?
